(Hanover, February 2011). The new Grabber AT from General Tire has received the coveted editors’ pick citation from the special-interest magazine OFF-ROAD. In making the award, the experts praised the tyre’s very good off- and on-road handling features. Ronald Partsch, test and technology editor, highlighted this at the awards ceremony in Munich on February 11. At the same time he underscored "General Tire’s courage" in coming up with a true off-road new product at this time. Tyre makers must measure up to the EU's ever more stringent low-noise demands for tyres. The superb match-up of off-road and on-road features greatly impressed engineers. It allows the new tyre to “far outstrip its already very good predecessor”.

General Tire unveiled the new Grabber AT to trade dealers and the press last autumn. It has hit the market this season in a narrow selection. A much wider range will be available next season.
